Update construction
The construction of HAUT is progressing well. Although there is not much to see from the street, everything is happening “below ground level”.
Around 100 piles are now in the ground, supporting the building to a depth of 30 meters. The concrete basement floor (at level -2) has been poured. Work is now being done on the basement walls. The expectation is that the basement floor (level -1) will be ready in mid-November.
We hope to reach the ground level around the New Year. The commercial space will then be built, which in the future will be used as a gym.
“Great”, an exclusive gym with other branches in Amsterdam South and Amsterdam East (Cruquius), will open its doors here. At the end of Q1 2020 we expect see the first timber on-site. The tower will then climb about a floor per week, meaning we will reach the top floor in around six months.
